Housed in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration, the Evaluation and Measurement Program consists of four full-time faculty members and several adjunct faculty members.
This program has been shaped to introduce students to a wide variety of inquiry modes. Advanced students examine philosophical underpinnings of current and emerging research approaches and their methodological implications. Emphasis on theory and application prepares students to use a variety of approaches and techniques with a mature understanding of their rationale. This, in turn, allows students to apply their knowledge and skills in a wide variety of disciplines.
The Evaluation and Measurement Program seeks to develop specialists who can apply their knowledge about research and measurement in a variety of settings. Primarily, the program seeks to develop specialists who can teach courses at the college level, provide leadership in the conduct of research studies, and serve as consultants in research methodology and data analysis in education, industry, and government.
